How can counselling help me?

The counselling relationship is a unique one that is built on trust, acceptance and understanding.  Finding the right counsellor for you is vital in enabling you to get the most out of your sessions. 

Counselling is a space that is just for you. Its a place where you get to explore whatever you feel you need to without fear of sensor or judgement.

You can sort through your difficulties and worries deciding if and what you want to change and how you want to do it.

Its a place of support where you will be listened to with respect, valued and accepted for who you are.

Counselling is there for whatever you need, whether it is help coming to terms with a trauma, gaining understanding and dealing with your anxiety, exploring difficult or trying relationships or figuring out and accepting who you are.

Looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your physical health and you don't have to be in crisis to feel the benefits of it.

Whatever your issue or worries are, having that space to unpick and unravel them has great benefits and can improve your quality of life.
