About Me
Michele (She, Her)
What inspired me to become a counsellor was seeking help after going through my own personal struggles with mental health.
My experience taught me that even though it can feel scary to reach out getting help from a professional can make a huge difference.

Therapy can sometimes feel difficult and uncomfortable. Why wouldn't, it when we are letting our painful, sore bits be seen.
But it can also feel safe, comforting, and healing, and really can make so much difference in our lives.
My therapy style is warm and gentle and I will do my best to make you feel comfortable, and will treat you with honesty, openness, and true feeling.

My Experience
Alongside my private practice, I work within an organisation that helps young people and adults who have experienced sexual assault or abuse.
I also attend regular clinical supervision, hold professional liability insurance, and I'm a member of the National Counselling Society (NCS), abiding by their ethical code of conduct.
I regularly undertake further training so that I can keep up to date with new research and provide the best care. This has included specialist Sexual Abuse Trauma training, Suicide and Self Harm, creative counselling techniques and working with the inner child.
