I became a counsellor after facing my own personal struggles and difficulties around mental health as I learnt what a difference getting support can make when you are faced with life's ups and downs. I wanted to help people to find healing for their pain, improve their mental well being or to facilitate the opportunity to address difficulties in their life.
I'm a down to earth person, who will do my best to make you feel comfortable, and will treat you with honesty, openness and true feeling. I am on your side, and I will do my very best to help you with your counselling journey.
Some of the issues I work with include abuse, anxiety, grief, loss, low self esteem, stress, depression, identity issues, relationship issues and a general sense of feeling lost or stuck.
I offer an inclusive practice that is respectful of your identity, culture, beliefs and personal choices.
I work from a private counselling room in my home. There is on street parking, I am close to bus routes and not far from a station. I do also have a dog in the house so please be mindful of this if you have any allergies.
My counselling Practice is located in Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.
In addition to my private practice, I counsel within an organisation that supports people who have been effected by sexual assault and abuse. I also have experience counselling young people (11-18) within a school setting.
